Nyos ® Quantum ® EQ

Nyos ® Quantum ® gets smart. You can now connect and control your skimmer via iOS and Android, through Mobius™ applications (the app, which EchoTech uses for their LED radios and pumps) и Appex Fusion App (на Neptune Systems®) both available on the App Store and Google Play.

Main characteristics:

• Preset templates: to make skimmer operation as simple and intuitive as possible, you can take advantage of the templates, set in Mobius ™

Performance mode: the skimmer pump performance is set to 70% and you can do the fine tuning yourself;

Plankton saving mode: the skimmer pump is reduced at night, so as to protect the natural plankton, active mostly at night;

Mode to reduce nutrient waste: if the nutrients in the aquarium are too low, mode permanently reduces skimmer performance, in view of, that they do not fall below critical values.

• Individual actions:

You can integrate the skimmer in Mobius ™, so that he reduces the speed of the pump during water changes or feeding, for example and then increase it back, to the preset speed level;

Smart safety features: if a snail shell blocks the intake port, the pump turns off, allowing the water to drain and remove the shell. If the pump cannot be restarted, it turns off automatically, The RGB LED in the skimmer flashes red for a problem and a notification appears in the app

The color code of LED in the skimmer shows the speed of the pump

Stepless adjustment: The speed of the skimmer pump can be adjusted through the app by 1 to 100% , different speeds can be set throughout the day

Energy saving 24 V pumps- EQ series skimmers use energy-saving low-voltage pumps, made in Europe. Thanks to the intelligent control system, the pump consumes up to 20% less energy and is s 10% more powerful, compared to the non-controllable pumps of the previous model.
