Liquid additive for carbonate hardness (alkalinity)
Modern Reef KH+ is of high quality, highly concentrated pharmaceutical grade liquid supplement. It's meant to be fast, safe and precise increase in carbonate hardness (alkalinity) in marine aquariums.

Difference between KH+ and RKS system
- Modern Reef KH+ (Correction): Stand-alone supplement for single or multiple dosing, according to the test results. It is used only when the alkalinity drops below the critical minimum, without changing the daily doses of the other elements.
- Modern Reef RKS (Support): Full, daily 4-component proportional dosing system (Base KH1, KH2, CAL, MAG). Supports auto balance, according to the daily consumption of the aquarium.
Method of use and dosage
- Test the water: Measure levels at home or via Modern Reef ICP analysis.
- Target levels: The optimal values for the Modern Reef system are 7.2 – 8.5 dKH.
- Dosage formula: 10 ml per 100 l of water increase BP with 0,5dKH
Important for safety: Do not increase KH levels by more than 0.5 – 1.0 dKH within 24 o'clock!
