Natural white sand, mined from high quality deposits. Contains no contaminants, and the calcium carbonate content helps to stabilize the water chemistry. The latest technology in AF bio sand significantly accelerates the maturation process of the aquarium and allows earlier addition of the first inhabitants. Contains laboratory isolated strains of nitrifying bacteria and nutritional supplements, facilitating their development and reproduction. The special formula of the product guarantees an accelerated start of the nitrogen cycle and removal of harmful chemical components faster, compared to ordinary substrates.

Preparation for placement in the aquarium: sand is completely harmless to the aquarium, but we recommend, in view of this, to avoid clouding of the water, before placement, to rinse in osmosis water, which you can pour directly into the envelope, by first removing 2 bottles with bacteria. Remove the osmotic water. Pour the contents of the bottles into 3 l salt water, mix well and add to the bag of sand, leaving it at that 24 o'clock. To trigger the bacterial multiplication process, do not close the envelope. We do not recommend storing it in a cold place, because this increases the time for bacteria to develop. The optimum temperature is approx 25-28 °C. After 24 hours the sand is ready and can be placed in the aquarium.
